I bred my first show litter of dachshunds in 1970. That was a smooth standard litter.
My kennel name at that time was Hindenburg. I finished several dachshunds under the Hindenburg name.
When I married in 1980 my husband Dennis and i changed the kennel name to Joy-Den.
We have bred and finished many champions with the Joy-Den prefix.
In 1995 I was the top dachshund breeder by finishing 8 champions in one year.
My top producing stud dog Ch.Joy-Dens Revelation SS in 1995 was also the top producer for that year by siring 15 champions in one year.
He ended up producing 38 champions in his lifetime.
